Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello Alan. Thanks for getting back. If you're trying to link your mail.iinet.net.au account directly to Microsoft 365, the best way is to add it as an IMAP account into a new Microsoft 365 instance of Outlook. This doesn't move your messages but it does allow you to connect to your existing ozemail.com.au email via old iiNet servers using Outlook. You would use mail.iinet.net.au as your incoming host (port 993, SSL) and the same for SMTP (port 587, TLS) and enter your full email address and password. However, iiNet is delegating email hosting to themessagingco.com and any change on their side to their hosting arrangements, means any long-term support for you could be compromised. If you created a new Outlook.com address you could also start afresh using the full capability of Microsoft 365 for free for three years, including 1 TB of storage with OneDrive and 50GB of mail for Outlook.com per user. You'd lose your identity and have to tell your contacts you are moving, but you can archive or migrate your old email manually. Basically, if you need to retain access to your address and email trail, adding your iiNet email account as an IMAP account for now is probably the best option.
