I want to change my current M365 Family plan from one country to another on renewal

I want to change my current M365 Family plan from one country to another on renewal and thje system wont let me.

Hey there!

I'm here to help.

Microsoft ties your subscription to your Microsoft Account region, billing address, and payment method. Once a region is set, it cannot be changed directly within the same subscription.

You’ll need to wait for Subscription to Expire then cancel your current plan. Once it is canceled then purchase a new subscription in the desired country.

Type "Billing question" and click "Get Help"

on the bottom of the page click "Contact Support" button

Choose your product you want support

On category choose "Billing and payment updates"

then click "Confirm" and click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser"

Will I retain all the info when i get a new subsciption in the new country ie emails, one drive etc?

HEllo, will I be able to move my data on the cloud when I change country?

Or will I loose my cloud base data when I change country and plan.

@Philip,

It depends on how you do it. If you cancel a subscription, it is safer to back up any data you have, especially if your current quota exceeds that of a free account. If you are able to actually move the subscription, with the help of Microsoft support, the e-mail account (Office account) wouldn't be affected at all.
