How do I find my OneDrive Personal CID?

I am unable to locate my OneDrive Personal CID. When I login from web browsers (i.e. Edge, Chrome), it does not show a cid as instructions from various resources state. It only shows "?view=1"

Hi Jason,

You can find your OneDrive CID in several ways. First, try sharing a file with yourself and opening the shared link in a browser the CID is often included in the URL. Another option is to visit Microsoft’s account summary page, view the page source (Ctrl+U), and search for CID= in the code. Lastly, you can open OneDrive in a browser, press F12 to launch Developer Tools, go to the Network tab, refresh the page, and look for any requests that contain CID=in the URL.

This is a bullshit solution. URLs from personal onedrives DONOT have the CID

the microsoft account summary + Ctrl+U does work but good luck to you to find the CID

Hi Carlo,
Seems that you don't know the latest changes in onedrive. The CID does not show up since maybe half a year. However to be able to map onedrive to a letter in the explorer there is no other way than having the CID. Therefore the CID should easily to be found by the owner.

No one of this suggestions works and I lost my F: drive used before and pointing to OneDrive without being aware of what happened. So my backups doesn't work any more. really disappointed.

Bullshit support! I need that CID because I want to map OneDrive as a network drive but not any more.

Same for me. The website after login shows https://onedrive.live.com/?view=0 and b) if copying the link of a file shared with myself does not contain a CID. And c) the Ctrl+U and F12 does not reveal the CID. So: where to find my CID???

I have the same request. Map the OneDrive as a “network drive” in Win11 in its explorer-view. Neither being in the VPN nor without a connection is established. Using the path like https://d.docs.live.net/ followed by my CID (which I think ti have from years ago)

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand you've already tried using different browsers, but your OneDrive Personal CID still doesn't appear.

To provide more accurate support please share the screenshot of what you see in Edge and Chrome.

In the meantime, you may try below steps.1. Open your browser then clear cache history

Go to Onedrive.live.com then sign in to your personal account.
Once you signed in try to look the URL in your browser address bar it looks like this " https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=1234567890ABCDEF "
