Bluetooth and Driver Issues After Latest Windows 11 Update — Mouse and Printer Not Working

After the latest Windows 11 update, I started experiencing serious issues with my Logitech MX Master 3S mouse and Kyocera printer:

The mouse stopped working and shows a driver error.

When I try to remove the mouse from Bluetooth devices, I get a "Removal failed" error message and nothing happens.

I can’t add new Bluetooth devices either — the Bluetooth device search window opens but disappears after a few seconds.

My Kyocera printer also shows a driver error.

I can’t print anything, and I’m unable to remove the printer from the system.

I already tried uninstalling the latest update and reinstalling it again, but nothing changed.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Oleksandr, this is Kimberly, an independent advisor. I'm glad to assist you today.

Recent Windows 11 updates (especially cumulative ones) have caused a variety of hardware issues, including broken Bluetooth stacks and driver problems.

    Try Windows Troubleshooters

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

    Run:

    Bluetooth

    Printer

    Hardware and Devices (if listed)

Sometimes they don’t fully solve the issue, but they can detect misconfigurations.

Should you have more questions, please let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly

Tried following Microsofts advice and nothing was able to be done by the troubleshooter.
Since i had an intel driver, i went to the intel site https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18649/intel-wireless-bluetooth-drivers-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html
and ran the driver installer. The version on intel's website was much newer than what was installed with the latest windows update and that fixed the problem for me.

After several hours with an online agent with success in restoring the mouse but no resolution to the Bluetooth audio devices issue. It was proposed that I upgrade to Win 11 version 24H2. That flushed the registry entries I couldn't find (deleting the parameters/devices keys didn't do it) and the adapter was working, the devices removed finally and therefore addable once more. Somebody must know where all that was hiding but of course the online staff won't touch your registry. Anyway, good to know there were no hardware issues but many, many hours were invested in trying to solve this. I still suspect the regular update caused it.

Hi Guys, Please uninstall the latest update (Not the security update but related to windows) and force restart your Laptop or PC by holding the power button for 10seconds until screen turned off. It worked for me. Please don't do any mess with your hardware. This is not hardware issue. Update has the flaws. Peace

I know this will seem trite. Here troubleshooting the same problem, the fix was to unpair and then repair the headset. I'll see myself out :)
