I'm not able to add someone to the Team chat or send them a link

First, confirm if the person you’re trying to add is part of your organization. If they’re external, guest access must be enabled in the Teams admin center. If they are internal, check whether you’ve reached the participant limit for that chat (currently 250 people) or if they’ve blocked you.

You can also try adding them from a different device or browser to rule out temporary app glitches.
