How to fix Microsoft Clock focus session timer reseting itself automatically?

When starting a new focus session, after less than a minute (before the timer counts down one full minute), the timer resets by itself. When starting the session again, the second time, the timer works without any problems. I have tried restarting the application and computer but the bug persists.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Check if your PC sleeps or locks during that first attempt, as this can cause the reset. To fix it, go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Clock > Advanced options and select Reset to restore the app. Also review your power settings to keep the PC awake while the session runs. If the problem continues, try using a new Windows user account to see if the issue is tied to your current profile.

    Regards,

    Arlene D.
