Upcoming Microsoft 365 price change Email - Scam or Just Confusing?

I received this email on August 9, 2025. The timing/date difference is suspicious/confusing. Is it a scam? Thanks.

Effective February 14, 2025, the price for Microsoft 365 Personal subscriptions will increase from USD 69.99* per year to USD 99.99* per year. To continue with the new price, no action is needed—your payment method on file will be automatically charged. To make changes to your subscription plan or turn off recurring billing, visit your Microsoft account at least two days before your next billing date.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Price increase is probably real. However, notice I received (was sent) arrived 6 months after the fact, which is not helpful and the issue that raises my suspicion.

    Microsoft did indeed raise the subscription fee starting in February of 2025. It will become effective the next time you will be billed.
