Just curious can I delete any of this? It's taking space. I don't remember having that EdgeCore folder and all of a sudden it's in there.

You can delete the two items I've marked, though I recommend you play it safe and rename the folders with a preceding underscore, then delete after a few days if there are no problems.
Hello, my name is Mario, and I would be happy to assist you with your issue.
I’m sorry for what happened!
It’s not recommended to delete the entire EdgeCore folder or other Edge folders, as this can cause issues with the Edge browser itself or with applications that depend on these components.
If you really don’t want Edge, you can block it through the firewall or use specific cleaning tools, but this is not recommended for regular Windows users.
Best regards,
Mario B.
Hi, Sorry to hear about the trouble!
I wouldn’t recommend deleting the EdgeCore folder—it can break Edge and other apps. Instead, you can:
Disable Edge in Task Manager → Startup
In Edge settings, turn off background apps
(Optional) Block it in the firewall if you never use it
This way, it stays out of the way without messing up Windows.
If you don’t use the Edge browser, you may consider removing it, but I don’t recommend it because if you want to use it again, you’ll have to reinstall it.
Why is there 2 versions of them? Can I delete anything?
