No quota available for o3-deep-research?

In the westus region I'm trying to do a o3-deep-research deployment, but the UI says "There are no locations with enough quota to deploy this model with the selected deployment type and version. You can try selecting a different deployment type or model version, or manage your quota."

As far as I can tell I have plenty of quota and I'm in a region (westus) that the model is available.

( I have already requested and been approved for o3 via the request form )

I am attempting to follow these instructions - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-foundry/agents/how-to/tools/deep-research-samples?pivots=python

I can deploy other models (such as o3) to the same subscription / region / project.

deployment type: Global Standard
model version: 2025-06-26
[attempted] resource location: westus

The "Request Quota" form does not offer `o3-deep-research as a model to request quota.

What can I do?

Hi Stephen Cattaneo

It is a recurring concern for O3- deep research users.

There are capacity constraints for O3-deep-research model, Quota is not being granted for low/medium trust customer at the moment.

Customer are advised to submit quota increase request for O3 deep research model separately

Thank you
