I was working on my PC normally. This morning, out of nowhere, the pilot for audio peripheric vanished. Impossible to listen to anything, as it simply is not existing anymore.

  • there is no device installed for the speakers
  • I tried plugging in my headphone, it does nothing (not even recognizing that there is a device plugged in)
  • I tried to get help from the system in my computer, the systemn says there is a problem, tried to fix it, failed, led me here
  • tried updates : no update in sight
  • tried to access parameters/system/peripheric management -> there is no peripheric installed for sound

I need my computer for work, I'm desperate, please help

Meantime, if you've system restore points,

    1. Click Windows + R key, type rstrui.exe and click ok.
    2. Select Next and click on the recent date/time when you're audio was working normally.
    3. Click Next and finish to complete the restoration.

If you're still experiencing issues, please share your system model details, I will look the audio drivers for your computer from the PC manufacturer's website or from the Motherboard website.
