    Dear SIMBARASHE MURADZIKWA,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A.

It appears you're encountering an error related to a missing XAPOFX1_5.dll file when trying to launch VR Centre. The XAPOFX1_5.dll file is one of the many files contained within the DirectX software collection. When this file is missing or corrupt, any program that relies on it, such as VR Centre, will fail to start.

You could try following these methods below to solve this issue:

    1. Reinstall Microsoft DirectX:
      • Download and install DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer
      • The installer will now scan your system to determine which DirectX components are needed. It will then download and install them. This process may take a few minutes.
      • Once the installation is complete, a confirmation screen will appear. Click Finish
      • Restart your computer and try launching VR Centre again
    2. Reinstall VR Centre:
      • Go to Start, type Add or remove programs > Enter
      • Scroll through the list of installed applications until you find VR Centre > Uninstall
      • Go to the official website or the original source from where you obtained VR Centre
      • Download and install the latest available version
      • Restart your computer then try again

I hope this would help. If you have any further issues, we are happy to assist.
