    Hi,

From what you’ve described, it sounds like the earbuds are connecting in stereo mode only, which typically disables the microphone input. This can happen if Windows defaults to the “Stereo” profile instead of “Hands-Free AG Audio,” which supports mic functionality.

Here are a few steps you can try:

    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices, find your earbuds, and ensure the “Hands-Free” profile is enabled.
    • In Control Panel > Sound > Recording, check if the earbuds appear as a microphone input. If not, try right-clicking and enabling disabled devices.
    • Also, confirm that Teams is set to use the correct input/output device under Settings > Devices.

    Best regards,

    Harry.
