Hi,
Can you try these steps?
- Press and hold that power button for like 5 to 10 seconds. It'll power off eventually.
- Turn it back on after that.
- Right when the HP logo shows up, force shutdown again the same way.
- Do this whole thing 2 or 3 times, you know.
- Windows ought to kick into Recovery Mode on its own, which is basically Automatic Repair.
- You'll spot something like Preparing Automatic Repair or maybe a blue screen pops up. From there, click on Advanced options.
- Then pick Troubleshoot.
- Head over to Advanced options again.
- Choose Startup Settings.
- Hit Restart.
- Your laptop will reboot, and a list of options comes up. Press 4 or F4 to get into Safe Mode.
- Or go with 5 or F5 if you want Safe Mode with Networking.
