Hello. After you pin an app to Start and then restart your computer, does the app stay pinned or disappear?

Try this step-by-step to refresh the Start menu:

    Step 1:

    1. Right-click the Start button and choose Task Manager.
    2. In the list, scroll down and find StartMenuExperienceHost.exe.
    3. Click it once, then press the End task button.
    4. Still in Task Manager, find Windows Explorer, right-click it, and choose Restart.

This tells Windows to reload the Start menu without restarting your whole PC.

    Step 2:

    1. On your keyboard, press Windows key + R.
    2. Type this and press Enter:
         %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Shell

    3. A folder will open. If you see files named start.bin or LayoutModification.xml, right-click and delete them.
    4. Close the window and restart your PC.

This clears the saved layout and lets Windows rebuild a fresh Start screen. After restarting, try pinning your apps again.

Let me know if the pinned apps finally show up, or if the issue continues.
