Updated to Windows 11 Home....used a SCREEN PRINT App called PrintKey Pro V105 on all prior Windows OS....pressed Print Screen Key and PrintKey-Pro would take a snapshot of Active Window and you could crop it and print it....

PrintKey-Pro installed fine in my Windows 11 PC. When I pressed the Print Screen button on Keyboard, Windows Snip tool opened. Following instructions to disable SNIP...SETTINGS\Accessibility\Keyboard...I turned OFF "Use the print screen key screen to Capture"

Restarted PC.... When I press the Keyboard Print screen Key...the SNIP tool still Opens....

PrintKey Pro will work if I place a shortcut to it and just use the shortcut....

Why is SNIT tool still opening? Can I configure Keyboard PRINT SCREEN Key to use PrintKey-Pro....?

    Hi,

I just tested installing the app, and it worked fine on my end even with Snipping Tool minimized on the taskbar. The app does seem a bit outdated since its last supported OS was Windows 7, so it's possible you might run into some issues like being unable to override the PrtSc key. That said, you could try uninstalling Snipping Tool to see if that helps. After removing it, restart your PC, then uninstall and reinstall the PrintKey app.
