    Dear Nehal Ahmad

Thanks for reaching out! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A. I'm Haien from Microsoft Q&A.

The error "Credential is invalid" usually means there's a problem with the username or password you're using. However, if you're sure you're entering the correct information, the cause of the problem might be a bit more complex, often pointing to an issue with how Windows is storing and managing your credentials, possibly due to a corrupted user profile, incorrect login details, or a sync problem with your Microsoft account. Clarification Request

To help me provide you with a more accurate solution, could you tell me:

    • Is this happening with your main Windows account login, or with a specific application like Microsoft Office, Teams, or Outlook?
    • If it's an application, is it a work/school account or a personal Microsoft account?

From that situation, I highly recommend you try these workarounds:

    • Go to account.microsoft.com/password, sign in, and reset your password. Then try logging in again.
    • In the Windows search bar, type Credential Manager and press Enter > Select Windows Credentials > Look for any entries related to the application you are trying to log into (e.g., Office, Outlook, or a specific network drive) > Click on the entry to expand it, then click Remove > After you have removed the credentials, close the Credential Manager and try to sign in again.

Please keep me updated with anything new that you were try to each option.
