Bluetooth Option missing from my Windows

Hi,

My onboard Bluetooth on a Gigabyte B650I AORUS ULTRA Rev 1.0 motherboard suddenly stopped working. The Bluetooth category is completely missing from Device Manager, and the toggle in Windows Settings is gone.

I installed the latest AMD Bluetooth driver (Ver 1.8240.169), but Windows still doesn’t detect the device. The Bluetooth services are running, and Wi-Fi works fine. I checked the BIOS, but there is no explicit Bluetooth option — only the WLAN module, which is enabled.

Has anyone experienced this? How can I force Windows to detect the onboard Bluetooth on this motherboard?

Thanks!

Hi, good day!

When was the last time it worked properly?

Please let me know if you have tried the methods below.

  • Shutdown your computer

Unplug the power cable from the computer for 30 minutes, then plug it in again and turn on.

  • Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Press Start then click Settings (Gear icon)

Select System > Troubleshoot

Click Other troubleshooters

Select Bluetooth then click Run this troubleshooter

  • Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: services.msc

This will open Services app

Find Bluetooth Support service in the list

Right click it then select Restart

Right click it again then select Properties

Click General Tab, in the Startup Type option, choose Automatic in the drop-down list.

Click Apply and OK.

Restart your computer.

  • Please try to turn off Fast startup

Press Start then search Control panel

Under View by > select Small icons

Select Power Options

On the left side, click "Choose what power buttons do"

Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable"

Under Shutdown settings > Turn off fast startup

Power off the system then pull the power cable from the computer, wait for 15 minutes.

Power back on
