Hello. I'm unable to install SQL Server Management Studio 19.0.2 on my new fresh intalled windows 11 but I have no problem to install/download SQL server 2022. It's a personal computer and installed McAfee. Tried to uninstall McAfee but it said if uninstall I will loose my 1yr subscription. The computer meets the requirement: intel core i7, 16GB memory,512GB SSD. SSMS already appeared on the system but still I can't open it. I did uninstall and try to reinstall it but doesn't work. Some of the components are still there. Unable to remove them. Please help. Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Isna Darmuis

According to your screenshot, it seems that your SSMS has been downloaded successfully, but an error occurred when connecting to the database.

Depending on your error message, you might not have a CA-signed certificate installed in SQL's trusted root store. However, if you only want to trust the server's self-signed certificate, you can try ticking "Trust server certificate". Of course, the best solution is to deal with certificate trust issues.
