How do I turn off BING

I dont like the fact that BING is linked to Microsoft Edge. I would like to turn it off and use another browser with Edge. Can this be done ?

    You can change the default search engine from Microsoft Bing to Google or any other option. To do this in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:

    1. Open Edge browser settings > Navigate to Privacy, Search, and Services > Search and connected experiences > Address bar and search.
    2. Click on Search Engines.
    3. Choose the search engine you want to set as default > Make default.
    4. Restart the browser.
