How to fix tiny menu and tools font size in Adobe Acrobat Pro after autoupdate (overriding Windows settings)

I'm using Windows 11 Enterprise, OS 26100.6584, running on an HP EliteBook 840 14-inch laptop. I have my system text size set to 132% for accessibility purposes. After today's Adobe Acrobat Pro autoupdate, those settings are not being applied to Acrobat as they had been previously. Adjusting scaling in Acrobat does not solve the problem. Any ideas on how to increase the incredibly tiny font size or get Acrobat to interface with Windows settings?

Hi, There

After the latest Acrobat Pro update, it’s ignoring your Windows text scaling. You can try this steps bellow to test it out and let me know the result:

  1. Find Acrobat.exe then right-click the shortcut > Open file location.
  2. Right-click it > Properties > Compatibility tab > Change high DPI settings.
  3. Check Override high DPI scaling behavior and set it to System (Enhanced).
  4. Apply, restart Acrobat.

Also in Acrobat:

  • Go to Edit > Preferences > General and make sure scaling is on Auto-Detect.
  • If the UI still looks bad, disable Use 2D graphics acceleration in Preferences > Page Display.

If that fails, try adjusting system scaling to 125% or 150%, or roll back the Acrobat update.
