I’m using the windows 11 store version and I can listen to hours of music and it’s fine. A little slow at times but really no issues.

The Apple Music app on Windows PC is plagued by constant performance issues that make it nearly unusable. The interface is extremely sluggish, often freezing for several seconds when I try to browse my library or switch between tabs.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app from the Microsoft Store and ensuring all my Windows and audio drivers are up to date, but nothing has fixed these core issues. Is anyone else experiencing this combination of a slow, unresponsive interface and unreliable audio playback on the Windows version of Apple Music?

Sorry to know about this as this has been a common issue that has been ongoing for quite sometime now. The alternative/s that you can look at is to access Apple Music from a browser or take a look at Cider, Vox and Ampcast that you can go over to their respective websites and see if this will suit your need.
