I have a Lenovo Legion y540, I was trying to set up the settings in the Bios to make it elegible for Windows 11, so I changed to UEFI. Now whenever I turn on my laptop I get "EFI PXE Network (00-2B-67-87-91-3C) boot failed. I tried accessing the BIOS several times but I always get the message: "Default Bios Device Missing or Boot Failed. Insert Recovery Media and Hit any key. Then select "Boot Manager" to choose a new Boot Device or to Boot Recovery Media. And then I'm not able to do anything else as I get into the Boot Manager and don't get any other options. 1000160920

    Hi ,

Well, the problem was that your Windows was probably on legacy. Try accessing the BIOS and finding the CSM option and enabling it. Then, access the BIOS again. The SSD boot options should appear.

Enable CSM and disable Secure Boot, and change the default to UEFI+Legacy.

If you wanted to fix this to update to Windows 11, let me know if it worked.

    Thanks

    Hi ,

You will turn off your laptop, take a paper clip directly from your laptop, there is a little hole and click on it and insert it into this little entry in the number, for example, to access the bios menu.
