Yes, it’s possible to bind multiple SSL certificates to different domain names in IIS. You can achieve this using Server Name Indication (SNI), which allows IIS to host multiple SSL sites on the same IP and port. To do this, open IIS Manager → select your site → click Bindings → add a new HTTPS binding → choose your domain’s hostname → enable Require SNI → select the right SSL certificate. Repeat for each domain. This setup lets you host multiple domains securely with their own SSL certificates on a single IIS server. Hope it helps!

    Hello Chaitanya Albur,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Yes, it is possible to bind two SSL certificates to two distinct domain names in IIS Server on Windows Server 2012. Here are the steps and considerations to achieve this configuration:

    1. Install the SSL Certificates:

    • Ensure both SSL certificates are installed on the server. You can do this through the IIS Manager by navigating to Server Certificates and importing the certificates.

    2. Add Site Bindings:

    • Open IIS Manager.

    • Select the first site you want to configure.

    • In the Actions pane, click on Bindings.

    • Click Add to create a new binding.

    • Set the Type to https.

    • Enter the IP address and port (usually 443).

    • Select the appropriate SSL certificate from the SSL certificate dropdown.

    • Check the Require Server Name Indication (SNI) box if you are using the same IP address for multiple sites.

    • Click OK.

    3. Repeat for the Second Site:

    • Select the second site in IIS Manager.

    • Follow the same steps to add a new binding for the second domain, ensuring you select the correct SSL certificate for this site.
