My wive plays games on a site that requires her to be geolocated in a specific state. She was able to use the site until I changed internet service providers. Now she gets the message that the site could not geolocate her in the required state.

    Hello

I assume this is some lottery type of games?

If she's doing it on a computer, and if the computer doesn't have the GPS chip, which is very common for computers, the geolocation relies on other things to determine. For example, IUP address assigned by your ISP. IP addresses are not always precise and don't reflect your true location, rather it reflects the ISP's IP range database location.

So, unless your device has GPS chip, this is not possible. You could possible use VPN, but they typically don't allow you to pick state, and such website typically can detect VPN use and may not allow it either. Your best bet might be to use phone, since phone has GPS.
