Hello,
The error message “Package failed updates, dependency or conflict validation” typically indicates that the Photos app has encountered a problem during a recent update or has conflicting dependencies. This can happen after a system update or if app components are corrupted.
To resolve this, we recommend the following steps:
Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps, locate Microsoft Photos, click Advanced options, and select Reset.
If the issue persists, uninstall the app and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.
Run the following command in PowerShell (as administrator) to re-register the app: Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | Remove-AppxPackage Then reinstall it via the Store.
