My computer is not compatible with Windows 11 so how do I install the Extended Security Updates for Windows 10? The instructions I found online are very confusing (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/faq/extended-security-updates).

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Extended Security Update (ESU)

    1. Make sure you're on Windows 10 version 22H2 with the latest cumulative updates (KB5046613 or newer).
    2. Open Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update.
    3. If your device is eligible, you should find there the option to "Enroll now (Extended Security Updates)" .
    4. Click it, sign in with your Microsoft Account, and follow the prompts to purchase/activate ESU (about US$30 per year per PC). You might get a free option via syncing settings to your Microsoft account or other qualifying actions (depending on what Microsoft is offering at the moment).
    5. Once activated, Windows Update will continue delivering ESU security patches past October 14, 2025.

For Home edition, you do not manually enter/install ESU keys (that's for business/volume licensing). Activation happens entirely through the Windows Update enrollment wizard with your Microsoft Account.

Everyone keeps saying this, but there are no links on the page to Enrol in the ESU and no help either.
