Title:
RTX 3050 GPU Issue on Dell Laptop – Code 43 Error and NVIDIA Control Panel Not Working.
Content:
Hello everyone,
I’m facing a serious issue with my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 on my Dell laptop with an Intel Core i5-11260H processor.
Recently, I noticed that the GPU stopped working properly. In Device Manager, it shows a yellow exclamation mark, and when I open the properties, I get the following error message:
Windows has stopped this device because it has
reported problems. (Code 43)
Also, the NVIDIA Control Panel doesn’t open at all, and the GPU doesn’t appear under Display Settings or in the options to switch between the integrated and dedicated graphics cards.
I’ve Tried So Far:
1.Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the GPU driver.
2.Tried installing drivers from
3.all official sources:
4.Dell official website (specific driver for my model)
5.NVIDIA GeForce Experience
6.NVIDIA official website
7.pdated Windows 11 and BIOS to the latest available versions.
8.Restarted the laptop multiple times and ran full
9.hardware diagnostics using Dell SupportAssist.
- did redownload windows.
Unfortunately, the issue still persists, and the Code 43 error remains.
System Specifications:
Laptop: Dell G15 5511
Processor: Intel Core i5-11260H
Integrated GPU: Intel UHD Graphics
Dedicated GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050 Laptop GPU
Operating System: Windows 11
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Question:
Could this issue be hardware-related rather than a driver problem?
Is there any confirmed fix or BIOS/Power setting that could bring the GPU back to work?
Any advice from experts or users who faced the same issue would be greatly appreciated 🙏.
Help me step by step please.
