Tried "Find my device" on Microsoft account page but didn't work. Now the phone is connected to Wi-Fi and the message is "device has been locked for security reasons Connect your device to a power source for at least two hours, then restart it to try again".

When you perform a factory reset on a Windows 10 phone, the PIN code will be removed along with all other personal data, apps, and settings. The phone will return to its original state, just like when it was first turned on.

However, there's one important thing to keep in mind:

    Factory Reset Protection

After the reset, the phone may still ask for the Microsoft account credentials that were previously used on the device. This is a security feature to prevent unauthorized access.

So even though the PIN is gone, you'll need to sign in with the same Microsoft account to complete setup. If you remember your account email and password, you're good to go.

Let me know if you’d like help walking through the reset steps or checking if your account is ready

    Hi 国镔 王,

If you're encountering a message that your Windows 10 mobile device has been locked for security reasons and you're unable to access it due to forgetting your PIN, here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

    1. Charge Your Device: Connect your device to a power source as instructed. Make sure it's charging and leave it plugged in for at least two hours. Sometimes a device may need to be sufficiently charged before it can be unlocked or restarted.
    1. Restart Your Device: After charging, try performing a restart on your Windows 10 mobile phone. This is generally done by holding down the power button until the device powers off, and then turning it back on.
    1. Reset Your PIN: If you still can't access your device, consider resetting your PIN through your Microsoft account. You can try this:
    • Go to the Microsoft account page.
      • Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.
      • Look for the option to recover or reset your PIN, if available.
      • Follow the prompts to reset it.
    1. Use Windows Device Recovery Tool: If you're unable to unlock your device and pin recovery doesn't work, you might need to reset the device using the Windows Device Recovery Tool. Note that this will erase all data on the device.
    • Download and install the Windows Device Recovery Tool.
    • Follow the instructions to reset your phone. Make sure to have a backup of your data if possible, as this will delete everything on the phone.
    1. Contact Microsoft Support: If you're still having trouble after trying these steps, reach out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They may have additional tools or suggestions for unlocking your device.

Remember, resetting your phone with the recovery tool will erase all your data, so it's a last resort if you cannot access your device through other means.

Please let me know if you have more questions or might be needing translation of this answer.

    Regards,
