I9-9900x compatibility with Windows 11

I built a new Win11 compatible system that I was assured met Win11 requirements but after build I checked PC Health check and it said my processor (i7-7740x) was not supported although it met all requirements. So bought a i9-9900x which allegedly is supported. Before I install it in my mobo, I want to make sure it is Win11 supported. My mobo is MSI X299 RAIDER Pro series and my DIMM is Ripjaws DDR4 64 mb. I've saw that the i9-9900x is supported but read in various tech chats that this processor is no longer supported. MSI & Intel both say it is. Is it?

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

I understand the issue you have. There is nothing to worry about. I am here to assist. Based on your system specifications and the processor you will install, it should be compatible with Windows 11. The i9-10900X is on the list of supported processors:
