    Click your Start Button, then just type cmd, on the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'.

    Run each of these commands in Command Prompt and press Enter after each command.

    ie4uinit.exe -show​

    taskkill /IM explorer.exe /F​

    DEL /A /F /Q "%localappdata%\IconCache.db"​

    DEL /A /F /Q "%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\iconcache*"​

    When those commands complete, restart (not shut down) your PC to apply the change.
