How do I make the opening page of Edge something other than the news feed that comes up?

You can remove the news feed from the opening page of Microsoft Edge by adjusting a couple of settings:

Open Edge and go to Settings (click the three dots in the top-right corner).

Select “Start, home, and new tabs.”

Under “When Edge starts,” choose “Open a specific page or pages” and enter the site you want to see when Edge opens.

To remove the news feed from new tabs, open a new tab, click the gear icon in the top-right corner, choose “Custom,” and set “Content” to “Content off.”
