Yesterday I did something realy stupid trying to fix a problem and now my entire Documents page is now missing from my file Explorer. There were like 30 Word document files in it. As you can see in the screenshot, it used to be just below Dowloads but now it's gone. It may be due to me deleting OneNote and/or OneDrive.

My desktop is an:

HP ALL-IN-ONE 24" PC WITH WINDOWS 11 AND MICROSOFT OFFICE 365. I also use Google Chrome (not Edge) as my browser.

Can you please help me get it back?

Mark

OMG! THANK YOU DAVEM121! At least this is a start! Now I have the word 'Documents" back where it was in my File Explorer! THANK YOU!

Unfortunately none of the Word files are there. There were like 30 of them that I use almost every day. Is there anyway to find those? Like I had said in my original post, I had uninstaled OneDrive AND OneNote right befoe I saw the word Documents was missing from my File Explorer, along with all 30+ Word files.

Can you help me find them or are they gone for good?

And, since my origninal post I DID find older versions of the same files. Just not the most current ones. And that leads me to another question: I was abble to add these older files into the Documents page that you just helped me get, but on the right there is something I'd like to remove to make my word files area bigger: Sorry, my screenshot keeps going to the top of this reply. So, if you can't help me locate my up to date word files can you tell me how to remove this area so my older files area is bigger?

By the way, I will be leaving by 3PM PST but I wil reply back to anything you say tomorrow.

    Mark

Your screenshot indicates, you may have just un-pinned the Documents folder form Quick Access.

In File Explorer, click your C drive on the left.

On the right go into the Users folder on the C drive, then go into your user folder.

In your user folder, if you find the Documents folder, right click it and select 'Pin to Quick Access'.

If you do not find the Documents folder, open the OneDrive folder, and in there, if you find the Documents folder, right click it and select 'Pin to Quick Access'.

Does that bring the Documents folder back onto the left navigation pane in File Explorer?
