My Lenovo yoga slim 7 touchpad not working
Randomly my lenovo yoga slim 7 laptop touchpad stopped working when I powered on today. I tried to find function keys to enable if in case but couldn't find. Touchpad is also not found in settings. Then I opened device manager and touchpad is not found under Mice and other pointing devices and when hidden icons were showed, touchpad was found under Human interface devices, so I tried update driver and restarted - not worked, then I uninstalled driver and restarted for my windows to reinstall automatically - not worked, Then I manually installed Elan touchpad driver from lenovo support website - not worked.
How can I fix the touchpad issue?

Each properly installed and properly operating device should be presented in the Device manager regardless of a driver installation.
Your device is absent in Device manager, so it is either faulty or improperly connected. Was your PC disassembled (may be partially) or repaired recently?
And please check carefully all devices in Device manager, maybe there was a different driver installed, and the device is mentioned under improper name.
