What is your budget ? Currently the best performing, and expensive gaming cpu's are the AMD models with large 64Mb L3 caches, which is an important factor for high end gaming graphics... eg- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X (64MB), and higher. The new top end X3D models have up to128Mb L3 cache.

If you read some of the many reviews for the Ryzen 9 7000>9000 series AMD cpu's you will get a better idea of which is best for your needs regarding graphics quality and frame rates.
