I attempted to link my Alexa device to my Outlook calendar, but it only shows a Microsoft calendar without any appointments. What steps can be taken to ensure these calendars sync properly?

    Hi,

To get your Outlook Desktop Calendar syncing right with Alexa, so appointments pop up properly, check a few basics and follow this process. You know, sometimes it's just a mismatch in accounts or something simple like that.

Here's the deal on what could be off and how to sort it. Syncing Outlook Calendar with Alexa.

First off, figure out which Outlook Calendar you're dealing with. Alexa works with Microsoft calendars on Outlook.com, like those @outlook.com ones, or @hotmail.com, @live.com too. And Office 365 personal accounts from Microsoft 365. But watch out. If your Outlook Desktop has a calendar saved locally, or it's tied to an Exchange server for work or school that's not through Microsoft 365, Alexa won't pick it up. That's a common snag, I mean.

Next, link the right Microsoft Account in Alexa. Grab the Amazon Alexa app and open it up. Hit More, then Settings, then Calendar & Email. Tap Add Account, or if there's already a Microsoft one there, pick that. Log in using the Microsoft account that has your Outlook calendar. Let Alexa have permissions to see the calendar stuff.

Once that's done, linking it, Alexa might need a couple minutes to pull everything in. Only events from calendars linked to that account will show. So yeah, double check it's the correct one.
