I often think Outlook and Teams are trying to sabatoge my career

Hi!

Welcome to my disorder.
First of all, let me take some of the responsibility. I have ADHD, but not fish like peripheral vision. Like many professionals however, I have a laptop with multiple monitors attached to it. Now most of my business takes place the attached monitor and not the laptop screen. So my "primary" sits off to the side. Due to this positioning, and lack of fish like peripheral vison, I miss notifications. Some from people I'm sharing 2 step verifications with, and more important ones, such as those from my boss. To tackle the issue, I decided to go into Teams setting and set notifications to "all screens." However, to my sarcastic shock, there wasn't a setting for that. Sure, Microsoft has created standards for business, but has anyone looked at business lately? Why can't I right click on an email address and send a meeting invite? No, no. Go in to the calendar instead! Oh, you forgot the email address of the 5th Steven in your organization? That's your problem! Go back and copy it! NOT FROM THERE! From here! Sorry, but this whole enitire suite needs a usability overhaul!

    Hi Rod Mayberry

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum

Thank you for sharing your thoughts so candidly. I completely understand how challenging it is to miss critical notifications when working across multiple monitors, and how much smoother your workflow would be if features like “all screens' notifications” or quick meeting invites from emails were available. Those suggestions would make things far more convenient for many professionals.

However, as a moderator, I don’t have access to backend systems or the ability to change app behavior directly. However, your feedback is valuable, and the best way to influence future improvements is through the Microsoft Feedback Portal

-Go to: Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub > Send Feedback > Describe your proposal in detail

-Check existing suggestions and upvote similar ones. The more votes an idea gets, the higher its priority

We’re sorry we can’t resolve this immediately, but we’re cheering for your idea to become a reality
