how to register to take the AZ900 certification test

1. Create or sign in with a Microsoft account

• Use a personal Microsoft account, not a work/school one.
• Using a personal account ensures you keep access to your certification record even if you change jobs.

2. Go to the official certification page Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
   • Click Schedule exam on that page.
3. Choose your exam provider
   • Pearson VUE – standard provider for most candidates.
   • Certiport – available for students and educators.
4. Create your Certification Profile
   • Enter your legal name exactly as shown on your government ID.
   • Fill in your address, email, and phone number.
5. Select your exam delivery option
   • Online - take it from home or office with webcam and microphone.
   • At a test centre – take it in person at an authorized Pearson VUE location.
6. Pick date, time, and language
   • Choose the exam slot that fits your schedule.
   • Common languages: English, German, French, Spanish, and more.
7. Pay and confirm registration
   • Price depends on your country or region (shown at checkout).
   • Apply a voucher if you received one (e.g., from Azure Virtual Training Days).
8. Get confirmation and prepare
   • You’ll receive an email with your appointment details and preparation tips.
   • For online exams, run the system check in advance to verify your webcam, mic, and internet connection.

please take a look here: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals -> in the Take the exam section you will find two options to schedule the exam with PersonVue or Certiport.
