My microsoft edge is rendering incorrectly and buttons are highlighted

Hi Dave, thanks for posting here in Microsoft community, it sounds like Edge might be having trouble with hardware acceleration or a corrupted profile.

Try these fixes, disable hardware acceleration, simply go to Edge settings then System then Turn off Use hardware acceleration when available.

Then you can also Clear browser cache or test in InPrivate mode.

Also, try to Create a new Edge profile to rule out profile corruption.

If the issue persists, check if your graphics driver is up to date or if any recent Windows updates affected rendering.

Also to isolate, are you seeing this issue on all websites or just specific ones—and does it happen in other browsers too?
