Amazon & Walmart redeem missing from Microsoft rewards

I'm at my ends wit with this botched program.. its bad enough that you all had to nerf the points so much & making it so much more grindy than it has to be but now for some inexplicable reason the Amazon & Walmart redemptions are gone now. Why is that exactly.. I'm just very frustrated with Microsoft rewards as a whole.

Amazon and Walmart gift cards are not available on my account either. I just logged in using a different account on my computer and Amazon Gift cards are available for that account.

I don't believe they are unavailable to everyone. I am not able to get a Walmart gift card, but my friend that lives a few miles away has the Walmart gift card as an option on their account. So, it IS available in my area and to others, just not to me. It seems like this might be some sort of scam by Microsoft to limit what we can choose.

Mine is the same way. I like to save my points and use them against bigger purchases. My friend spends his often. He has Walmart and Amazon still available and mine are not. It seems like it is not a stock replenishment issue at all. My friend lives in the same area. Not sure why we are being blocked. Did you get your fixed and if so how?

Walmart still has not returned, and it's been months. I even check the first day of the month, before they should run out. Nope. It's also now 7,000 points for a $5 gift card, and they want you to refer people. Why would you when it now costs 2x as many points to get a $5 gift card!

I wonder if there is a limit on how many times you redeem a particular e-gift? The only 3 I have redeemed in past, Walmart, Amazon and Sam's Club, are the 3 no longer available to me. Does anyone know?

The Amazon and Walmart gift cards are very popular, and sometimes they may go out of stock or be temporarily unavailable. In most cases, they do come back once stock is replenished, so I’d suggest continuing to collect points in the meantime.

So they are out of Amazon gift cards? What a crock of crapple! Microsoft controls what cards are available not Amazon. Try using the Bing app on your mobile device to redeem Amazon gift cards.

While the Amazon card wasn't available on my desktop PC it was available on my Android phone.

Microsoft is not allowing people to choose their preferred gift card which forces them to pick another card that they don't really want. If that isn't illegal it should be. I wonder if Amazon is aware of this as it is directing revenue away from them.

Amazon, Walmart and Sam's Club are all missing on my account as well. Hopefully they will eventually be restored, they are the only 3 I'm interested in redeeming.

John, that simply isn't true. My wife is sitting right behind me at her PC and she can choose from both Walmart and Amazon gift card while Amazon has shown out of stock for me since February and Walmart is altogether missing. At this point I'm submitted almost a years worth recorded searches and discrepancies to the Florida Attorney General, they seem to be interested as our AG is an S-Tier asshole who has a track record of investigating and suing big business, and it seems I'm not the only one in Florida providing evidence. Best part is it won't cost me a dime to force MS to either change or scrap this program.
