Thank you for these suggestions. I deleted the 10.9.25 Microsoft update previously, but the continuing updates from Microsoft after 10.9 seemed to still cause the problem. So a restore to 10.9 I do not feel will solve this do to this previous attempt to correct the issue. It was then that I contacted the other 2 resources for assistance. Best Buy readded the 10.9 and post updates. They also rechecked for new driver updates. Non of this has fixed the problem. IF I discontinue the updates then I fear I will have more problems as the updates are continual the previous updates.... Suggestions? WHAT part of the 10.9 update do you feel caused the problem? Maybe we can start there?
Why are the new Oct '25 updates affecting my new laptop keyboard drivers?
The new updates in October, everyone of them, has caused my keyboard drivers on my new ASUS Zenbook 14 to become corrupt. I have to uninstall/reinstall every day after an update. Shame on Microsoft for forcing everyone to buy new Windows 11 computers and now deal with so many issues on the roll out of continual updates. Frustrating and disappointing for such a huge company. Maybe try to troubleshoot theses updates before rolling them out. With over 8k unanswered questions in this forum, and no way to talk to a human, it is clear AI will take over the world. Wish I had bought Apple.

2025-10-16T21:34:47.73+00:00 My keyboard still continues to be unresponsive every morning I turn it on. I have gone through ASUS for assistance and Best Buy Tech for a total online remote review of my new laptop. Neither have been able to direct me to any resolve of this issue. I am very tired of going to my "keyboard drivers" DAILY to uninstall/install these. This problem started after the Microsoft update of 10/9/25. I deleted it, but Best Buy readded it so all updates have been applied to my laptop. Maybe, this is an ASUS laptop issue, but I have had this laptop since June with no prior issues. I don't know what to think about it.
