I'm wondering how I can link my Certiport account with my Microsoft Learn Account so that whatever certifications I earn can be reflected on my Microsoft Learn Account. Thank you.

I agree, the system is broken. I've been told by Certiport that Microsoft said they would provide a solution to this problem, but have yet to fix it. I'm just wondering if my certifications don't show on Microsoft because I didn't establish a learn path through Microsoft and I didn't register for the exams through Microsoft. It would be nice to know if this is the case.

Even if they provided an MCID, there is no linking option on the Certiport site. I didn't establish a learn path either. I can't understand why two large corporations couldn't get this hammered out within a few hours.
I agree. It's a very frustrating experience and the Microsoft certification process is expensive. You'd think they would try to make this easier for their customers.
As a means of displaying my Microsoft credential on LinkedIn, I went to this page: https://www.certiport.com/portal/pages/credentialverification.aspx
From there, by plugging in the information required (certification ID, student ID) I could access my online certification document. I copied the URL to LinkedIn and used Certiport as the issuing authority. This worked in terms of allowing LinkedIn users to view the cert document.
I don't remember the exact process I used to download the cert document (.pdf file) to my laptop but by trying a few things, you should be able to download the document first and take the cert ID from that. The certification document should be shown on the Microsoft credentials page but somehow the two sides aren't getting together to make this happen. I wrote to the CEO of Certiport to ask for his assistance.

No, unfortunately there isn't an update.
I contacted Pearson/Certiport and they said this is on Microsoft. So Pearson disavows that they can display a cert earned through them on Microsoft's site and Microsoft gives instructions to link to Certiport through an "Account Linking" option which doesn't exist. But Microsoft requires that the exam be taken through Pearson. So the system is completely broken and you can spend the time and money to take the test but the certification you earned will not show up on the Microsoft credential page that you could link to. This is unacceptable.

How do you get an MCID? I didn't receive one when I registered for a Microsoft Learn account.
There used to be a term called "vapor ware" where managers would promise that an application or system could do things they couldn't really do but just wanted to buy time before the feature was actually functional. So, the process that the credential support staff went through the trouble to document falls apart at the beginning. Things like MCIDs maybe exist, existed, or didn't exist but at any point I didn't get one I'm aware of. Also, as far as a credential support issue goes their instructions to access credential support provides a link that takes you to business support that has nothing to do with credentials and will just frustrate any efforts to get someone to take a credential question. Just crazy this is.
MC IDs have not been used since the merger of Learn profiles with Certification profiles in mid-2024, and are not listed or used anywhere. I miss mine.
The Certification Dashboard no longer exists, certifications are now on the Learn profile https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/credentials/?tab=credentials-tab
The API link between Certiport and Learn has not been working for over a year, so certifications taken with Certiport are not being transferred to your Learn profile. Given that Certiport is owned by Pearson, I cannot understand why this is still the situation.
For this reason I tell people to select Pearson Vue for exams, not Certiport.
