I am trying to add an IMAP email address to my outlook app on a Samsung/android tablet. Hower when I click the plus sign there is no specific option for adding IMAP. When I enter my email address in the feild provided I get the following error code: 9hehw. (see attached screenshot)

What can I do to add my email?

    Hi Murray,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it is when Outlook on your Samsung tablet doesn’t show IMAP options and throws errors like “9hehw.” This usually happens because Outlook’s automatic setup can’t detect the right server settings.

About the “9hehw” error, I’ll need a bit more info to look into it properly. Could you confirm if you're using Microsoft 365 Business Edition? Also, what’s the domain of the email you’re trying to add? When you access Outlook on the web, what does the URL in the browser’s address bar show? And lastly, which email provider option did you select when adding the account?

In the meantime, here's the step to setup IMAP to your android device and you can click this link for more info: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/set-up-email-in-the-outlook-for-android-app-886db551-8dfa-4fd5-b835-f8e532091872User's image
