I cannot change payment method (New credit card)...my data is CORRECT but keeps on telling me 'check that the details in the fields are correct or add another card' ..I simply cannot move forward as I also cannot add another card as suggested.

When I start to use MS365 it tells me there is a problem with my subscription 'Past due' but I cannot get to pay the subscription..my account details are correct and all data is correct.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

If the same error appears, try removing the existing payment method first, then add your new card again. If you need to change the method for a specific subscription, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services find the subscription, click "Manage," and select "Change how you pay".

If issue still persists after that please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance:

    • Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    • Type this keyword and press Enter: Contact Support.
    • At the bottom, click "Sign in to contact support" and sign in with your Personal Microsoft account (Not work or school account), or click "Contact Support" if you're already signed in.
    • In Product and services, select "Microsoft 365 and Office".
    • In Category, select "Billing and Account Profile questions".
    • Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If you are unable to update your payment details or add a new credit card in Microsoft 365, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Card Details: Ensure that the card details you are entering are correct, including the card number, expiration date, name on the card, and billing address. Any mismatch can lead to errors.
    2. Sufficient Funds: Confirm that you have sufficient funds in your account to support the payment. If your card is declined, you may receive an email indicating that Microsoft was unable to process the payment.
    3. Contact Your Bank: If the card details are correct and you have sufficient funds, contact your bank to check if there are any restrictions on your card, such as international transactions not being enabled or a credit limit issue.
    4. Use a Different Browser: Sometimes, browser issues can prevent changes from being saved. Try using a different browser or clearing your browser's cache and cookies.
    5. Sign Out and In: Sign out of all active Microsoft 365 sessions and then sign back in to see if that resolves the issue.
    6. Remove Old Payment Method: If you only have one payment method and want to remove it, you may need to replace it with a new one first, as you cannot delete the only payment method on your account.

If you continue to experience issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
