Far Cry 6 works on Windows 10 and windows 11 (old versions) but i am on 25H2. It crashes on lockscreen. after going through the enitre internet. i found out its a windows issue rather than ubisoft issue. its a 100gb+ game. Please fix :/

Since it happens right after the splash screen on Windows 11 25H2, it looks like a compatibility issue with this Windows build, not your hardware or drivers, which are up to date. It is happening every time, I launch the game. I have gone through internet it states its windows version issue. I have updated everything including firmware.

Hello, a few months ago i installed windows 11 25h2 and it went well.Far Cry 6 started successfully.But yesterday i decided to launch it and it didn t start.PLease help.

Hi Muhammad, thanks for posting. Does the crash happen right after launching Far Cry 6 or when the lock screen appears?

Windows 11 version 25H2 has some compatibility issues still being reviewed, and game crashes can occur if drivers or certain features are not updated. Make sure you install the latest graphics driver from NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel, and check Windows Update for any optional or driver updates.

Apologies — I mistakenly wrote Lockscreen instead of Far Cry 6 splash screen. Splash screens is displayed upon execution of game. after while it disappears.

I’ve updated all Nvidia and other graphics drivers. My system specs are: HP Victus 13th Gen, Core i5-13420H, 512GB SSD, 32GB RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 3050 (6GB).

The game was previously running fine on Windows 21H2, but it no longer works. I recently updated from 24H2 to 25H2, hoping it would resolve the crash. However, I’m still encountering the same issue.
