Dear Valued Customer,

We are following up with you on your support case ID #5499378. We have not heard back from you in the last two days and would like to know if there is anything else we can do to assist you.

Our last email to you is quoted below:

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your reply.

In that case, I would recommend that you get in touch with Microsoft support since this issue comes from the Windows update and not from CorelDRAW.

This was introduced in the Windows October update.

That update made changes to the Windows File Explorer which now detects files that have been downloaded from the internet which are marked with a security label known as the Mark of the Web (MOTW).
This update aimed to enhance file safety from certain files downloaded from the internet.

If issue still persists after that, please let us know.

Best Regards,
Emmanuel F.

To address the issue of no preview in CorelDRAW after the Windows October update, it is recommended to contact Microsoft support, as the problem stems from changes made in the Windows update rather than CorelDRAW itself. The update altered how Windows File Explorer detects files downloaded from the internet, specifically those marked with a security label known as the Mark of the Web (MOTW). This change was intended to enhance file safety but may have affected the preview functionality.

If the issue persists after reaching out to Microsoft support, further assistance may be necessary from Corel support.
