To install Windows 11 from Windows 10 using Windows Update, follow these steps:

    1. Open Windows Update: Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    2. Check for updates: Select "Check for updates".
    3. Look for Windows 11 upgrade: If your PC is eligible, a banner will appear offering "Upgrade to Windows 11". Select Download and install.
    4. Restart when prompted: The upgrade will install, and your PC will reboot several times during the process.

Make sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11 before starting the upgrade. It's also a good idea to back up your important data prior to the installation.

If you get This PC meets Windows 11 requirements with PC Health Check app, then you can use Windows 11 Installation Assistant which you can download from here:

Alternatively, you can try manual upgrade using ISO file. Follow these steps:

Download Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft website.

Double click on it to mount it to a DVD drive.

Then go to DVD drive, double click on setup.exe to proceed.

    Hi, good day!

I recommend checking your device for Windows 11 compatibility first using the PC Health Check app

    https://aka.ms/GetPCHealthCheckApp

If your device meets and passes all the requirements, I recommend using the Windows 11 Installation assistant to upgrade to Windows 11 manually. Performing this will upgrade your device from Windows 10 to 11 while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11

Note: It's always a good practice to backup your important files first before performing any Windows upgrade or reinstallation.

Few things to check on the PC

    • Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
    • Disable or uninstall any third-party Antivirus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed by clicking "Add comment" below.
