    Hello Tom Klima.

Thanks for sharing the details, Tom — let’s simplify this.

Disk Management is only showing the partitions on your computer. If you see Windows 10 listed on the E: drive, it just means there’s a Windows installation stored there. It doesn’t affect the system you’re currently running unless you boot from that drive, so it’s nothing to worry about.

As for email, Outlook is simply one program to access it. Your sbcglobal.net address exists independently of Outlook — you can use it through a web browser or add it to the built‑in Windows Mail app.

To get your Windows 10 disc to start, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Boot Order: Ensure that your computer is set to boot from the CD/DVD drive before the hard drive. You can usually access the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing a key (like F2, F12, DEL, or ESC) immediately after turning on your computer. Look for the boot options and set the CD/DVD drive as the first boot device.
    2. Create a Bootable USB Drive: If you have a Windows 10 ISO file in your E: drive, you might want to create a bootable USB drive instead. You can use tools like Rufus or the Windows Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB drive from the ISO file. This might be easier and more reliable than using a disc.
    3. Use Disk Management: Since you mentioned that Disk Management is open and shows Windows 10 in your E: drive, ensure that the disc is properly formatted and recognized. If the disc is not bootable, you may need to create a new installation media.
    4. Try Another Computer: If possible, try the disc in another computer to see if it boots there. This can help determine if the issue is with the disc or your computer.

If you continue to have issues, consider downloading the Windows 10 installation media from the Microsoft website and creating a new bootable USB drive.
