Hello, I’m Virginia fellow Windows user.

It can take 24 hours for any password changes to become fully active, once the waiting period is over please try signing in again with the new password. Please note with each password change the waiting period is reset.

If you are experiencing issues with your password not working despite changing or resetting it multiple times, there are a few steps you can take:

    1. Verify Email and Password: Ensure that you are entering the correct email address associated with your account and that there are no typos in the password.
    2. Check for Account Lockout: If you have attempted to sign in too many times with the wrong password, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait for a while before trying again.
    3. Use the Right Account Type: Make sure you are signing in with the correct type of account (Work/School vs. Personal). If you are using a Work or School account, contact your organization's help desk for assistance.
    4. Self-Service Password Reset: If you have access to the Self-Service Password Reset feature, you can try resetting your password again using the appropriate link for your account type:
    5. Contact Support: If you continue to have issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. Include your name, telephone number, and email address when contacting them.

Using a third-party email address with a Single-Use Code can be a temporary workaround, but it's essential to resolve the underlying password issue for long-term access.
