I currently have Office 365 Personal on my PC and want to share it with a new laptop that is listed under my husband's account. Everything I read says it's doable, but I can't find any definitive instructions for doing it. Please help.

    Hello,

You mean you have the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, right?

The personal subscription does NOT allow you to share it with a different user, meaning, if the subscription is under your name, you cannot use it on the computer while it is under your husband's account. You need to upgrade to the Family subscription in order ot share with other users.

That said, your personal subscription allows you to use it on up to 5 devices at the same time, but under the same account.

So, if you want to use it on the new computer, you have to sign in using your Microsoft account, and use the installation instruction to install, and sign into the apps with your account.

    Please go to https://www.office.com

Sign into the Microsoft account you used for the subscription. Click on Apps on the left.

Then on the upper right, click on "Install apps". This will now download the installer file. Once downloaded, click on the file to install. It will install the Desktop version of the apps for you then.
