How can I get my passkey back if it failed to save or backup?

Is it possible to manually generate a passkey and later link it to my site, even if the passkey was previously deleted or failed to back up?

If a passkey fails to save or backup, there is currently no direct method to retrieve it once it has been deleted. However, you can create a new passkey from your account settings on a website or app that supports passkeys. After creating a new passkey, you can link it to your site. It's important to note that if you had a passkey that was previously deleted, you would need to generate a new one since deleted passkeys cannot be recovered.

Additionally, when creating a passkey, you can choose to save it on a Windows device, a linked device, or a security key, depending on your preference and the options available to you.
